To celebrate my new contact with a scanner, here is the first pencil doodle i've uploaded in about twooo years.
my art has suffered these past two years, i think largely because i hate sketching with tablet.
mercy, i've never really given too much time into trying backgrounds before, and sure didn't go all out this time. will try some more detailed and actually original ones in the near future hopefully. rather than just half-assedly copying someones.


it's messy, but it's a start to get back into things.

i find it one of the most adorable characters on DA.

go pay ~Sout some tribute, one of my fave artists on DA for sure, and i hope i can create some fan art that would do him justice someday.
I know i'll be taking some inspiration from him for a long time.
some reason everything he makes gives me a great sense of nostalgia. it reminds me of art that i adored when i was younger.
